Is This My Big Break? (Final Part)

It is!!
I've won myself two 3-day passes to Rainforest World Music Festival 2009! How so?
I entered a MIX.fm SMS contest last 2 weeks, not expecting anything, because the 1st SMSer with the correct answer will be the winner and I thought,"What are my odds? Oh, just for the fun of it."
Then a week later, I received an SMS that I won those tickets worth almost RM500! Yikes!
Looks like my almost 24/7 internet radio streaming paid off big time.
I'm supposed to pick the tickets at Astro in Bukit Jalil (I had a tough time searching for this info), but as I'm in Sarawak, astro sent the tix by courier. Those babies finally arrived home today.

6 tix, each worth RM90 individually.

3 days of Rainforest World Music Festival.

But still, I'm not sure if I'm going to all of the events RWMF has in store. It would be fun to go to all three, but must be tired as hell 'cause there are so many shows & workshops and suppose to end late everynight(I've seen the list of showtimes). I MIGHT go to one or two, and then maybe give the rest to my sister?

3rd Wedding

I don't have many photos to show what I'm up to lately, so as usual, I'm posting about someone else's wedding (I told you there were many). On the 6 June, Intan, Tasha and I went to Oden's wedding at his home in RPR 1. The weather was quite hot but we managed to wait to snap some memories together.

Intan Badariah, haven't seen her in many2 years. We studied in SRB St. Teresa and MRSM Kuching together. She still looked the same. (except for the dyed hair) =)

Jan & Feb 09 updates

No. 1, it was my birthday on the 27th of January, obviously, last month. I'm 27 now. Twenty-seven. Some might see it differently. Some might think it's 30 minus 3 years old. Some might say it's only a number. I see it as a stepping stone to grow more and live my life as I dreamt it would be. For those who know me, I'm always young at heart, but I hated it when people treated me like a child.grrr.

Anyway, my birthday fell on the 2nd day of CNY this year. Though I didn't throw a bash, my special day celebration was full of little sweet surprises. On the downside, that day was the day I was back to the "work station". That's why I celebrated it a day earlier. Smart eh? LMAO.

No. 2, my twin nephews had arrived! They were delivered by C-section on the 3rd of February 2009. I had been kidding my sister to have her babies on my birthday, but she insisted on February, it's ok they still share my star sign anyway. Yeah for Aquarians. On the same week, I drove back to Kuching to see my soon-to-be-spoiled nephews. Heartbreakers. haha. I think we have to teach them how to treat girls right.
So, fiance Ezam and I gave them bibs and rompers (everything has to come in twos) from Mummycare. It was a short weekend, but I enjoyed it very much.

It's Our 5th Anniversary

As Dora the Explorer sings,"rain,rain,go away,come again some other day". What-who watches Dora?? Honestly,when there's nothing good on Tv,yeah I do. WTF am I babbling about? Oh yeah, it's pouring non-stop outside,it's cold and I'm still under the blankets(well..my legs actually).THAT might interfere with my morning judgements.

Back to topic.Happy 5th Anniversary SayangThayangBabybaboRocksmysocksoff - fiance! Why aren't you here with me? Oh right, you're working your butt off.

Down memory lane. Remember when we first met at Pizza Hut that night,with all the other guys and babes? Yeah..we didn't give a d*mn about each other. True apa. You were lame,baby,(of those flu medications I assume)with a capital L(and I wasn't looking a.k.a. not single). I felt sorry for yah and shoved a pizza to your face.

DAYNA: Want another pizza? (shoves)
NIZAM: No thank you. I'm all right. (puts head on the table)
DAYNA: Okay. (continues mingling with the others, ignoring *him)

What happened after that?
Nothing. We didn't meet again until uhm..err..3months later? I know it's sumwhere before the fasting month of 2003. We hung out at MyKampung,accompanied by Randy. Just friends catching up on stuff. Then during Hari Raya we went ngabang, with Norini this time. Again just friends going visiting together. Or so we thought.

(grins sheepishly)I know it took you months to convince me. I had just ended an eight-month roller-coaster relationship and I wasn't planning to be on a rebound. But 5 years later this turned out to be something very special for us. We've been through a lot(for that span of 5years) together and we're still here(uh-huh uh-huh). I'm thankful for what GOD gives us and pray we'll be together forever & ever. Love ya rockin' fiance!

Let me start this 2008 post with recent happenings.

I'm engaged!! And it hasn't sunk in yet. Do I believe it? Do you? I have to. I've been wearing the rock for about 5 days now. Sounds vain eyh? WTF. Here's a teeny taste for you to imagine.
