Mobile Matters

At last my dear SE reached the end point. It already had problems months ago, but I was still willing to hold on whatever that's left. In my mind, if I get to buy a new phone, I don't want an exy one, which something I might do during my Uni-phone-obsessed years. During those years , I do not settle with anything less than 1k.This is a model of my old phone. I had it for 2 years, with the price of RM800+.

Last Saturday, Ezam♥ & I went phone shopping at One-TJ. As I mentioned earlier I was not looking for anything expensive. If possible, I want a second hand cheap phone (hahaha..cheapskate!!).
But since last year, I've been eyeing on LG KS360 after I first saw the ad in the CLEO mag.

Of all the colours (blue, silver, red, pink), I prefer the silver one. I never thought of using a phone with colours other than the usual, black, silver or white. Ezam♥ said his friend has a red one and he doesn't like the colour (and red was out of stock btw). Pink..hmm..I'm not a pink kind of person. It's not that I don't own any pink article, but ME just doesn't = a pink phone. Too bad silver is not available, so I ended up with a blue one. It's ok, 'cause I like blue. Price including 2G memory card: almost RM700.

To make the this matter longer, I did thought of buying an LG Cookie instead. Almost. But I didn't.So..as I was driving "back to school", I must simply test the 2.0 Mega Pixels camera. Hmm..not bad..I can see that pop of blush and sebum on my chin.

Last but not least, I really need to brush up on my blog composing. I think this post is pretty depressing. Maybe I am just tired. Sigh~

Old News

These are definitely old news but I just got this photo of Sue's wedding. Like this one a lot. Very natural. Sue's big day was on 7 June 2009. This was my 4th wedding attendance in 2 weeks. Congrats Sue & Zaini!

Shopping news.

During the 2 weeks holidays, I've been going out a lot and seen a lot of stuff. Biasalah arum bulak lekak keluar dari tuttt.. I'm trying to spend my money wisely based on wants and needs. I have to think really2 hard@deep because I don't want to end up making purchases which I'll regret later(wah..seriusnya..). In the end, I "splurge" myself on a beige clutch with took me almost an hour to make a decision(sambil makan sambil mikir..). As you can see, it is also in the above image(wink).

It's plain beige with patterns inside and a small zipped pocket. It has magnetic buttons and detachable straps. Originally, it costs RM65 but it's on sale for 20%. After the discount, I spent my RM20 voucher sent over the mail. So I paid about RM32 for the cluth. That's what I call a bargain! From VINCCI.

Moving on the 2nd week. I managed to sweet talked Ezam♥ into buying me a pair flats to be worn at work. These babies were on sale at 50% so I guess it's a Win-Win situation =).

Other than the things I managed to snag during the holidays, I've got my eyes on a pair of sunglasses(a girl can't have too many sunnies..they're like shoes!) at Sarawak Plaza. As if that is not enough, I've also been charmed by a pair of black & red checked Caspia flats! I know these are wants NOT needs so I'm just keeping my eye on them. I might probably buy neither in my next pay check btw. Sounds familiar?

3 Cheers for lower fuel prices!

The petrol price is RM1.80 a liter now. I noticed it when I filled my tank full to the brim yesterday. Why, any plans? I have to go to school for a few days to do the work given by our "lovely" headmaster(maka aku diam jaoh). A bummer rite? But I kept on the bright side to stay sane.

The first difference that shows the low fuel price is that my estimation to get my tank full is off. I thought with the current level, my tank will be full if I add about RM60 of petrol. Lo and behold! The nozzle popped stop at RM48++. Whoopee..I saved a few ringgits.

I couldn't help myself but documented my journey.

When I stopped the vehicle, the needle was actually at the 2nd last line before half tank point. The position of the car influences the needlepoint. If you noticed it, my car is still on Drive. Shhh!! I ate an ice-cream on my way back to Kuching~

New Year = Work

It's a leather(faux i guess)bound Starbucks Coffee 2009 Planner. It's like a journal, but you can use it for any purpose that you like. I'll use mine to jot down notes during meetings and/or courses.
The planner includes a calendar for each month starting from December 2008 till December 2009. For each 1st page of the month, there's a "green" quote. Oh I almost forgot, for every purchase of this planner, RM1 will be contributed to charity. How sweet is that?
I hope this can be one of my semangat to go back to school.(don't make me start on that!)

Picnics & Cameras

I received a surprise call this evening from okang(noraini). Apparently our friends Asrul Crux and Bobie(I dun know his real name) ngajak lepak at 3rd mile McD. Aiseyman..I just had McD last Tuesday, now another one? I'm feeling all the flab silently mounting around the abdominal part of my body..dahla malas exercise..ujah bah..
So we caught up with our current news such as work, relationship status (ahem!), transfers, studies(exclusively towards Bobie) and future plans during the hols. These are my outdoorsy mates. We might be going picnicking on the 20th but it's not confirmed. And they invited us to take photos tomorrow night(yeay..more cam-whoring!).
Okang gave me a ride home and I left the party with a headache.

It all started at 7am

Ugh!! Have to wake up early to go to the dentist. Been there thrice but later postponed because of the number of people waiting. This had been a 3/4 month-old mission since I discovered a cracked piece of tooth somewhere where it's not suppose to be. Reached the dentist at about 8.40am and stared at this for an hour approximately.
The final result is okay, just a bit "ngilu" sometimes. I have to part with my precious RM85. Sobs~

It's December y'all!!

Let me start this 2008 post with recent happenings.

I'm engaged!! And it hasn't sunk in yet. Do I believe it? Do you? I have to. I've been wearing the rock for about 5 days now. Sounds vain eyh? WTF. Here's a teeny taste for you to imagine.

Whole day at the Salon

I went to McPhee Hair & Nail studio somewhat after 11 for my Raya hair. Norini promised to come by as soon as she came back from Sri Aman because she wanted to colour her hair as well. She came as the hairdresser was finishing my hair at about 2pm. (Norini might kill me if she knows I've uploaded her picture here. Shh!!) Anyway, completing her hair was and adventure..more like an obstacle with hunger pangs. At first they needed to bleach her hair (when I saw that I really wish the end result will be worth it)..then they colour her hair dark ash blonde. Lo and Behold!! It was too light!! Too light!! Too light!! No!! No!! It was already nearly break fast time, somewhat 6.20pm. After a lot of thoughts and talks, the hairdresser decided to apply colour treatment to darken the hue. We were out of there an hour later. This is the end (and expensive) result.

HEP bullsh*t!!

Let's vent my anger first. This whole week we were pretty bummed that our allowances were not out yet. Hari Raya is around the corner and we got no shopping money to buy Raya essentials. Then on Wednesday / Thursday came a MEMO from HEP telling that the allowances will be in on Saturday. One of my friends was sceptic saying that there's no bank operation on Saturday, so there's no way the money will be in then. I gave no comments 'cause I'm still hoping that the money will be in as soon as possible. Saturday comes and ta-daa!!..no money..Zippo. Argh!! Bullsh*T HEP!!

One of our classmates told us that she regretted not eating more pizza slices during break fast. Just hearing that made me feel like having pizza too, despite having McDs on Monday (junk food is one of my vices). My other friend said we will have pizza when we break fast together as a whole class, but I just can't wait. I can eat pizza more than once I'm sure. Haha. Well, see what I had just now. Yummy!! and burp!! (again)
