Sicko

Everyone is sick nowadays. With the changing climate, haze and so forth. Not to mention my babybabo is sick as well. I would say it was due to the sun & rain and his job. He was already not feeling well on Thursday, but he had go to work on Friday still because there were others who took MCs.kethiannn...

So last night he went to bed early. He called me at 7.11 p.m. before hitting the sack. As usual I asked him did he drank a lot of plain water ('cause he hates plain water). He said he did. "Ok, that's good, honey". Then I told him it would be better if he wakes up in the middle of the night to take his paracetamols again so that the healing will continue after 8 hours. (That's what my mom always did to us when we were kids.)

I just tell him this because I know he wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night after a sick and exhausting day just to take pills and drink more plain water. But guess what, I received an SMS from him when I woke up this morning.

12 Years Later

Have you ever seen the movie Titanic? I hadn't until yesterday. Wierd? I know many people like or even love the movie, some watched it over and over again, with tears at the end. Titanic was released on 19 Dec 97. That means I waited 12 years to finally watched it. What are my reasons?

1. It's not really my favourite genre, so I don't mind ending up not watching.
2. The movie lasted 3hours, I don't know if I can wait that long. I don't understand it if people can watch that movie over and over again. 3hours man!
3. I don't have the resources to watch it many years later, until it's being played on Star Movies.

Whatever it is, I'm a curious creature by nature. I want to see what everyone's been crazy about. So yesterday, I glued myself from 4.55-8.05pm in front of the t.v.
Yes, I think the movie is good. Logic and not cheesy, in my opinion. I hate cheesy love stories. But I don't think I'm going through the same thing again for another 3 hours if there's a re-run. Once is enough, unless I'm very VERY bored. There you go, I'm finally Titanicked like you. Haha.

An update on the twinnies. I received an MMS from sis last night.

It's "Takeshi Kaneshiro" Rahman with his ultraman hair. Haha!

Jan & Feb 09 updates

No. 1, it was my birthday on the 27th of January, obviously, last month. I'm 27 now. Twenty-seven. Some might see it differently. Some might think it's 30 minus 3 years old. Some might say it's only a number. I see it as a stepping stone to grow more and live my life as I dreamt it would be. For those who know me, I'm always young at heart, but I hated it when people treated me like a child.grrr.

Anyway, my birthday fell on the 2nd day of CNY this year. Though I didn't throw a bash, my special day celebration was full of little sweet surprises. On the downside, that day was the day I was back to the "work station". That's why I celebrated it a day earlier. Smart eh? LMAO.

No. 2, my twin nephews had arrived! They were delivered by C-section on the 3rd of February 2009. I had been kidding my sister to have her babies on my birthday, but she insisted on February, it's ok they still share my star sign anyway. Yeah for Aquarians. On the same week, I drove back to Kuching to see my soon-to-be-spoiled nephews. Heartbreakers. haha. I think we have to teach them how to treat girls right.
So, fiance Ezam and I gave them bibs and rompers (everything has to come in twos) from Mummycare. It was a short weekend, but I enjoyed it very much.
